Sola Oladeinde, the influential Osun state politician has finally made known his political ambition.
The former commissioner wants to become a Senator via the 2019 election.
And he has initiated steps towards this end.
The Ijebu Jesa indigene with strong links to former governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola and ex-Deputy Governor Iyiola Omisore is said to be taking the step after a ‘’critical review of the political situation in Osun state’’.
“His supporters have actually been on his neck to contest for some time but he refused until the political landscape revealed this is the proper time for him to make much-desired contribution to Osun state and Nigeria at large” a source stated.
Checks by societynow.ng revealed that the much-loved politician would be actualizing his Senatorial Ambition on the platform of the Social Democratic Party.
“He has transformed into one of the major pillars of the SDP since he moved from the PDP” a source disclosed.
Oladehinde served as the Osun state commissioner for commerce and industry as a People’s Democratic Party chieftain in the administration of yardstick for good governance in Osun state Olagunsoye Oyinlola.
