How Bandits Made It Unusual Eid-El-Fitr Celebration For Gov Atiku Bagudu This Year

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State had an unusual Eid-El-Fitr celebration this year.

According to a statement made available by Yahaya Sarki, his Special Adviser on Media, the governor “left comfort of his home” to be with people of Sakaba communities who were recently affected by dastard activities of bandits.

The statement released to today, May 16, 2021 reads…

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu left the comfort of his house and the State capital, Birnin Kebbi to observe Eid-El-Fitr Sallah with Sakaba communities especially Dankolo Community of Sakaba Local Government to sympathise and condole with families affected by banditry.

Kebbi Governor also visited security personnel in the area to condole with families who lost their love ones in active duty in the area.

The Chiefdom of Sakaba, Alhaji Muhammad Ladan Musa while thanking the governor for the visit, described him as a leader full of compassion for his people.

In his words ‘ We are indeed happy with the visit at this period of Sallah.

‘ This simply demonstrates the kind of leader you are. I have no words to express my thanks to you ‘, he averred.
