OSIPA, Airtel To Enhance Ease Of Doing Business In Osun With Launch Of 2G, 3G & 4G connectivity

Towards delivering the Ease of Doing Business mandate of the Governor Adegboyega Oyetola led administration, the Osun State Investment Promotion Agency-OSIPA in collaboration with the Osun Ministry of Innovation,Science&Technology has activated its partnership with leading telecommunication company Airtel with the installation of telecommunications equipment for improved voice and data (internet) connectivity within the State Secretariat-Abere and the office of the Governor accessing 2G, 3G and 4G connectivity.

This is expected to enhance efficiency and productivity across all Ministries, Departments and Agencies operating within the state secretariat Abeere Osogbo and environ.

Currently on a 2 week test period, the enhanced communication and connectivity partnership is set to go live to complement the official opening of the ‘One Stop Shop’ situated within the OSIPA Office Complex on Wednesday, 2nd June, 2021.

Speaking on the development, the CEO/Special Adviser to the Governor of Osun on Osun Investment Promotion Agency (OSIPA), Mr Femi Adeniran said “We are indeed very excited about our partnership with Airtel which is one of the several initiatives in the pipeline under the Ease of Doing Business Umbrella

“With improved Connectivity and data access by staff and visitors to all our MDAs we are optimistic that turn around time for communication, processes and approvals will be reduced and this will promote overall efficiency, effectiveness and productivity”

It will be recalled that Governor Gboyega Oyetola recently inaugurated the Osun Ease of Doing Business Council with the mandate to ensuring a friendly environment for commerce, business, investments and investors aimed at promoting economic growth and prosperity and impactful development within the state of Osun.
