Ex-Nigerian First Lady Dies Of COVID-19

Hadiza, the wife of late former President Shehu Shagari, is dead.

She reportedly died in the early hours of Thursday, August 12, 2021.

The death of the former first lady, according to information, came to be following battle with coronavirus complications.

Muhammad Bala Shagari broke the news of her demise in a statement on behalf of the family.

Shagari, the departed soul’s husband, who was the president of the country from 1979 to 1983, died in 2018 at the age of 93.
