MTN Nigeria’s Sales & Distribution Awards Holds Amidst Glitz And Fanfare
MTN Nigeria concluded its Sales and Distribution Awards with a night filled with glitz and fanfare at the Lagos Continental Hotel, Victoria Island recently.
The well-attended event hosted the company’s sales associates and distributors from across the country. Themed Casino Royale, guests were seen decked in the classic tuxedo and sparkling outfits, inspired by the famous James Bond movie. The event was anchored by award-winning comedian and singer, Kenny Blaq, who belted from his repertoire of jokes to keep guests in high spirits all through the night.
There were 23 categories of awards, including Best Sales and Trade Delivery Manager; Best Channel Manager; Strategic Financial Partner, Best Channel Analyst; Best Senior Lead (North, East, Lagos & South-West); Best Sales and Trade Delivery Manager; Best Channel Manager; Chief Sales and Distribution Officer’s Excellence Award; Strategic Financial Partner; Convenient Channel Partner Award; Data Trade Partner Award (North, East, Lagos & South-West); National Data Trade Partner; Customer Acquisition Partner; Fortune 100 (Silver & Gold categories) and National Winner, Fortune 100.
The Fortune 100 category recognises teams who exceed sales targets in their various territories. Five winners in silver and gold categories received a brand new seven-seater and fifteen-seater bus respectively. Golad Telecoms Limited emerged the National Winner in the Fortune 100 category with special recognition from Tobechukwu Okigbo, Chief Corporate Services Officer, MTN Nigeria, who represented the Chief Executive Officer, Olutokun Toriola at the event.
Congratulating the recipients, Tobechukwu Okigbo thanked the ecosystem of MTN’s Sales and Distribution partners, noting that the company’s tremendous results can be attributed to their dedication and commitment while assuring them of a stronger relationship in the year 2022.
He added that, “It was exciting to observe that all the Fortune 100 winners were led by women. As an organisation passionate about creating equal opportunities, it’s my pleasure to recognise these women and look forward to greater rewards as we continue to surpass targets.”

The event featured a performance by the critically acclaimed dance group, DNMT and ended with an after-party featuring award-winning DJ, Big N.
