Ex-Deputy Speaker Yusuf Lasun Contesting Osun Guber Election

It has been confirmed.

The former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representative, Yusuf Sulaimon Lasun will contest the Osun State gubernatorial election.

information reaching highstreet.ng revealed the Ilobu-born politician, who recently announced his resignation from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), will be doing so on the platform of Labour Party (LP).

Mr Lasun, before quitting the ruling party, contested and lost the APC governorship ticket to incumbent Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.

He has reportedly disclosed LP, a less popular political party, to be his platform of choice to seek the votes of people of Osun State.

The former lawmaker who is the owner of popular LAIM Hotel, unveiled his new party in Osogbo, the state capital, today, April 7, 2023.
