Gov Sanwo-Olu Tells Major Role Tinubu Is Playing In His Reelection Bid
The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has made a major revelation about his second term ambition.
And the revelation is about the role Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is playing to ensure he returns as governor in 2023.
Speaking through Gboyega Akosile, his Chief Press Secretary, Sanwo-Olu maintained his ambition to contest for the office of governor of Lagos State again has the full backing of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
He also went on to disclose that his expression of interest form and nomination form to run for another term term in office as governor was paid for by the heavyweight politician.
Asiwaju Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State is the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The revelation, according to information, became necessary to correct media reports suggesting Tinubu, who a major contender for the office of the President of Nigeria may have withdrawn his support for Mr Sanwo-Olu and anointed another candidate.
