Trial of Senator Elisha Abbo has commenced.
Abbo is the senator of the federal republic that assaulted a nursing mother in a viral video recently.
He was arraigned in the afternoon of today Monday July 8, 2019 by the Federal Capital Territory Police before Senior Magistrate Abdullahi Ilellah.
According to information Senator Abbo pleaded not guilty to one count of assault during his arraignment before a Zuba Magistrates’ Court in Abuja.
And Senior Magistrate Abdullahi Ilellah granted him bail in the sum of N5m.
Senator Abbo represents Adamawa North Senatorial District at the upper chamber of the national assembly.
