General Oladipo Diya Dies At 78
Former Chief General Staff, Lieutenant-General Oladipo Diya is dead.
Diya, who served as the second in command in the military government of General Sani Abacha, reportedly gave up the ghost in early hours of Sunday, March 26, 2023.
Prince Oyesinmilola Diya confirmed his passage in a statement on behalf of the high ranking ex military officer’s family.
Born on 3 April 1944, his death came to be at age 78.
