Rivers Crisis: Wike, Fubara Shake Hands At Aso Villa

The Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, were seen exchanging pleasantries today, October 31, 2023.

The development where the duo were seen shaking hands transpired at the presidential villa in Abuja.

interestingly this came to be after the ugly drama that rocked Rivers State on Monday, October 30, 2023.

With former Governor Wike as alleged mastermind, the Rivers State House of Assembly commenced impeachment proceeding against governor Fubara.

There are indications both potitians and members of the opposition PDP were in the Villa for a meeting of the Nigeria Police Council, a constitutional body that oversees the organisation and administration of the Nigeria Police Force.
