BUA Group Warns Public Against Fake Recruitment Exercise

BUA Group has warned the general public against a purported recruitment exercise.

In a communication via its Facebook handle, the Nigerian conglomerate – with interests in manufacturing, infrastructure and agriculture – tagged the said job advertisements as fake and further maintained that it was never authorised by company or its billionaire founder and chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu.

Titled “Fake Vacancy Recruitment Exercise!!!”, the communication reads..

It has come to our attention that fake job advertisements, falsely claiming to be from BUA Group and BUA Cement, are circulating on social media. Note that these job advertisements are not legitimate and have not been authorised by our company or the Chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu (CFR, CON).

We urge the general public to exercise caution and verify all job recruitment exercises relating to the company or any of its subsidiaries through our official communication channels and report any suspicious recruitment exercises.
