ASR Africa Empowers Women On The Continent With Donation Of $1.5m

ASR Africa, the philanthropic initiative of founder and chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu (ASR), has announced a donation of $1.5million to uplift women entrepreneurship across the continent of Africa.

The donation, according to information, was specifically committed to “She Win Africa” programme.

“She Win Africa”, run by International Finance Corporation (IFC), is an initiative dedicated to encouraging women-led startups across the continent of Africa.

Signing of documents confirming ASR Africa’s philanthropic gesture took place at the Victoria Island, Lagos head office of BUA Group with Chairman Abdul Samad Rabiu and IFC’s Chief Executive Officer, Diop Makhtar representing their respective organisations.
