Worship For Change Holds Benefit Concert On October 1st

All is now set for this year’s ‘Green Worship 7.0’, a benefit concert organised to raise awareness and support for indigent children, orphans, and children with special needs.

The concert, organised annually by Worship for Change, a leading not-for-profit organization in Nigeria will hold on October 1st 2024, at the prestigious Balmoral Convention Centre (Sheraton Hotel) in Ikeja, Lagos, as from 5pm.

The convener and Chief Responsibility Officer of Worship4Change, Pastor Wale Adenuga, said the concert and other related activities is expected to raise N100 million which will be distributed among the following:

1. Flora Trust Foundation, Ago Palace Way
2. Gilead Initiatives, Ikorodu
3. Agbedare Jesus Care Foundation, Ibadan
4. Gold Gate Missions, Adamawa
5. ⁠Bethesda School for the Blind, Lagos
6. Jesus Orphanage, Port Harcourt

Adenuga at a press conference called on kind-spirited individuals and corporate organisations to support the cause by attending the free concert and donating generously.

“in addition to taking donations at this year’s benefit concert, we are having a 21 days of giving in October and our hope is that this campaign will enable us to raise more tangible  support for the children we seek to help”, he said.

Over the last few years, Worship4Change has raised and disbursed over N130 million to 40 charities, directly impacting thousands of underprivileged children across Nigeria.

Four charities namely, Joy in Africa Foundation, Asaba, Let Cerebral Palsy Kids Learn Foundation, Lagos, Sechilde Centre, Abuja and To Omo Re Centre, Ilorin were beneficiaries of the last year’s benefit concert. Each charity got N8.25 million
