Gov Eno Restates Commitment To Good Learning Environment For Children

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to a good learning environment for children across the State, as he received Rotary Club District 9142 on a condolence visit.

In his remark while receiving the District Governor, Rotarian Nkemdili Nnonyelu and other leaders in the district which covers Anambra, Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom State, he said since assumption of office, he has made efforts to always apply the Four Way Test of the club in his policies, programmes and activities, hence the spread of projects across all the State.

He noted that though it is not the policy of government to feed children in schools, it will continue to ensure that their learning condition remain conducive for effective and efficient learning.

The Governor who is a member of the club appreciated the leadership and members for their show of support and solidarity.

He assured that his membership status will be strengthened, even as he will continue to give his support to enable the club further on its humanitarian services.

Earlier, the District Governor, Rotarian Nnonyelu said the club recieved the sad news with shock, but with thanks to the all knowing God saying, “there is time for everything under the sun.

He assured that the club will continue to stand by him and the family through the home going ceremonies, and beyond.
