It’s A Big Win For Abdul Samad Rabiu’s BUA Group & ASR Africa Again

Abdul Samad Rabiu, the Nigerian billionaire businessman whose philanthropic effort is reputed to be the largest on the continent of Africa, should be very happy at the moment.

And the reason for this development is straightforward. BAU Group – the multifaceted conglomerate he founded in 1988, and ASR Africa – the philanthropic initiative he set up in 2021, annually giving out $100 million in response to health, education and social challenges across Africa. – just won big at the 2024 edition of the prestigious SERAS Awards.

The award ceremony held on Saturday, December 14, 2024.

BUA Group and ASR Africa were honoured with the “Education Intervention of the Year” award.

Ubon Udoh, the Chief Executive Officer of ASR Africa received the award on behalf of the two Organisations.

Interestingly, this latest recognition came weeks after the both entities “stole the show” at the Social Impact and Sustainability Awards (SISA).

The 2024 Social Impact and Sustainability Awards was held on November 24, 2024.
