Nigerian Army Warns Against Activities Of Scammers On Social Media

The Nigerian Army has alerted the public to activities of fraudsters using its name to perpetrate fraud on social media.

The warning is contained in a statement made available via its verified handles where it specifically warned that some unscrupulous elements have created fake accounts to defraud Nigerians “mainly through recruitment scams.”

Titled “BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS IMPERSONATING THE NIGERIAN ARMY ON SOCIAL MEDIA”, the communication reads…

The Nigerian Army has uncovered fake social media accounts created by fraudsters to deceive unsuspecting Nigerians, mainly through recruitment scams.

These scammers have been using fake accounts to defraud people, and while some have been caught, efforts are ongoing to apprehend more. The Nigerian Army is committed to protecting the public from these malicious activities.

To clarify, the Nigerian Army doesn’t have any official social media accounts on TikTok.
