Inside Gov Bago’s Message To Christians At Easter

Niger State Governor Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago congratulates Christians across the globe, especially Nigerlites, on the 2025 Easter celebration.

The Farmer Governor, in a message through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, observes that Easter is one of the most important celebrations in Christianity as it is the foundation of the Christian faith.

He also notes that Easter, which is to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, is usually celebrated at the end of the Lent period, 40 days of fasting and prayers.

While felicitating with the Christians, the farmer Governor reminds them on the need to reflect deeply and continue to hold firmly what Easter symbolises to them and ensure they impact positively on the society.

He also urges the people to take advantage of the season to reinforce their prayers for peace and tranquility in Niger State in particular and Nigeria in general.

The farmer Governor, who also enjoins the people to pray that God will guide government officials at all levels and give them wisdom to serve humanity better, reassures that his administration will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the New Niger agenda is achieved for the benefit of all.
