Wole Oke Tells Grouse With Gov Adeleke
Popular lawmaker, Busayo Oluwole Oke has revealed what his grouses are with the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke and his administration.
Oke, in his fifth term, is the house of representatives member representing the of Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency at the green chamber of the national assembly.
And interestingly, he is one the few Peoples Democratic Party’s stalwarts that invested hugely in the process that transformed Senator Adeleke the Governor of Osun State.
He made the revelation in a three minutes video broadcast to his constituents on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
The lawmaker with the reputation of giving out over 1,000 jobs to individuals from his constituency and beyond maintained he found it disheartening the fact that governor Adeleke and his government could believe all sorts of lies against his person by those he tagged as invaders.
“The purpose of this video is to state the issues… The purpose of nurturing this party (PDP) is to enable my followers, my constituents to also benefit from government… to become councillors, to become Chairmen of councils, to become supervisors, secretary to the Local Government and all that. That is the purpose of my endurance, supporting the government.
But what do I get in return… I’ve seen invaders, who never knew how we started all the process, spewing all sorts of stories… And unfortunately the government of the state is believing them. And that is the most painful aspect of it”, Mr Oke said in the video address that has further fueled the talks of his possible cross-carpeting to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“I want all of you to advise me, in a situation where you are not trusted, where your opinion does not count, when your advice are not taking into consideration, and when you are undermined. Please advise me on what I should do. God bless all of you, the federal lawmaker concluded seeking advice from his followers.
