Claims Fidelity Bank CEO Onyeali-Ipke was Part Of Woobs Resources Case Unfounded

Media reports linking the Managing Director of Nneka Onyeali-Ipke to the case of fraud involving Woobs Resources is unfounded and absolute falsehood, information at the disposal of highstreet.ng has revealed.

Onyeali-Ipke is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of leading financial institution, Fidelity Bank.

Sahara Reporters had in a report published on June 25 2025 claimed the bank MD was a party to the ongoing case of fraud involving the account of the company (Woobs Resources) with Fidelity Bank.

However, available information has revealed this to be further from the truth. The charge sheet sighted highstreet.ng showed the Defendants in the suit were Victor Ukutt, Esq, Fidelity Bank Plc, Whoba Ugwunna Ogo and Safiya Whoba.

Earlier in the media also indicated that the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice issued a press statement on  June 9, 2025 explaining that Dr. Onyeali-Ikpe’s name was struck off the charge as she was neither the account officer nor the Managing Director of the Bank when the account used in the alleged scheme of fraud was opened.
