Pictures: Gov Diri Attends Late Ex-Milad Olubolade’s Service Of Songs In Lagos

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has described the late Military Administrator of Bayelsa State, Rtd. Navy Captain Caleb Olubolade, as a true Nigerian who worked for the development of the state.

Governor Diri who was speaking at the Service of Songs in honour of late Olubolade at St. John’s Military Protestant Church, Bonny Cantonment, Lagos, said the deceased served Bayelsa State and the country with dignity, passion and love.

“Olubolade was a true Bayelsan. He loved Ijaw nation and the people of Bayelsa. That’s why I am in Lagos for this burial with a large delegation from the state.

We mourn with the wife, children, the family members, the government and people of Ekiti State for this loss. Our father has finished his course, he came, saw and conquered. May God rest his soul.”

The Governor as a mark of recognition named the Civil Servants Quarters which he built as Military Administrator after him.
