UBA Dismisses Fire Incident At Head Office

United Bank for Africa (UBA) has dismissed as unfounded reports online and social media that fire broke out at it’s head office Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

Dubbed UBA House, the foremost financial institution’s headquarters is located on Marina Street, Lagos Island, Lagos.

Reacting to the development in a short message sent out, the Africa’s Global Bank disclosed the fire incident actually occurred at a structure on Broad Street where one of its numerous branches is situated.

Speaking about the safety of its workers and customers the bank said: “We have ensured the safety and well-being of our staff and customers in the branch.
