Police Says No Sufficient Ground To Prosecute Pastor Adefarasin Over Gun Video

The Lagos State Police Command has said their is no sufficient reason to press charges against Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, Paul Adefarasin Over a viral video where he was seen pointing what appeared to be a firearm to an individual.

The police command made this known in a statement made available by its spokesperson, Abimbola Adebisi, who disclosed the popular preacher voluntarily reported to its headquarters in Ikeja for questioning over the incident.

According to the police, investigations indicated that the object Pastor Adefarasin was seen Brandishing in the viral clip was a stun gun and not a firearm.

“After a thorough investigation, including interrogation and a cautionary statement from Pastor Adefarasin, it was established that the object in question was a stun gun and not a lethal weapon or firearm.

“Consequent to our findings, the Lagos State Police Command has determined that there are no sufficient grounds to proceed with the matter. The case is hereby discontinued,” the statement read.
