Highlights As NMDPRA Releases November 2025 Midstream & Downstream Scorecard
Nigeria’s downstream and midstream sector continued to show steady improvement, with stronger supply, better stock levels, and expanding domestic refining capacity.
Key highlights for November:
• 71.5m litres/day PMS supply, with improved national sufficiency at 16.65 days.
• PMS consumption: 52.9m litres/day.
• Diesel (AGO): 20.4m litres/day supply; 15.4m litres/day consumption.
• LPG supply: 4,958MT/day — above national demand levels.
• New refinery licences: 1 establishment + 1 construction licence.
• Waltersmith Train 2 (5,000bpsd) continues commissioning.
• Domestic gas supply: 4.684 Bscf/day powering homes, industries, and export commitments.
These figures demonstrate progress in stabilising fuel supply, strengthening domestic production, and supporting Nigeria’s long-term energy goals.
