Gov Eno Receives The Remains Of Rev Uma Ukpai At Uyo Airport

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has received the remains of Rev. Uma Ukpai at the Uyo Airport,  salutes the commitment of the departed man of God in propagating the Gospel across the world.

Speaking at the Victor Attah International Airport, Governor Eno, in an emotion-laden tone, said, “ We are here to pay respect and receive the body of God’s Servant Rev. Uma Ukpai. He lived here, served God here, and from here touched different parts of the world. On behalf of the government and people of Akwa Ibom State, we receive his body today and hand it over to the PFN president for onward peaceful movement to the cathedral and later to Abia State for his interment.”

The President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Francis Wale Oke, expressed deep appreciation to Governor Eno, the government and people of Akwa Ibom State, for their show of love and solidarity with the family, as well as the careful coordination of the processes leading to the final journey of the departed man of God.

On ground at the solemn occasion were the wife of the deceased Pst. Philomena Uma Ukpai, family members, top government officials, and eminent members of the clergy.

His remains will be laid to rest on Saturday, 28, 2026, in his country home in Ohafia, Abia State.
