“An Honour To Be Received Once Again” – Abdul Samad Rabiu Visits President Tinubu

The Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, paid a courtesy visit to President Bola Tinubu at his Lagos residence on Sunday, 5 April 2026.

The visit, which the African philanthropist described as “an honour” and a “cherished tradition,” provided an opportunity for the BUA Group founder to extend Sallah greetings and personally wish the President well following his 74th birthday on 29 March.

Sharing reflections on the meeting via his social media handle, the renowned businessman noted that while the official Sallah celebrations held two weeks earlier, it remained important to him to convey his goodwill in person.

His full remarks following the visit read:

“It was truly an honour to be received once again by His Excellency, Mr. President.

It remains a cherished tradition for me to pay my respects and extend my greetings during Sallah. Although it has been two weeks since the celebration, I felt it was still important to convey my heartfelt good wishes. I was also pleased to take the opportunity to extend my warm birthday wishes to His Excellency on his recent celebration.

I continue to keep His Excellency in my prayers, wishing him good health, long life, and renewed strength as he leads our nation”.
