Niger Govt Talks Partnership On Gold Recovery, Mining With Russian Investors

Niger State government is has concluded arrangement to enter into partnership with investors from Russia for the establishment of a gold recovery and mining company in the State.

The executive governor of Niger State, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago who received the Russian investors on a courtesy visit at the Government House Minna discussed on critical areas that will help in boosting the economy of the State.

The proposed partnership will be a joint venture between the Niger State Government, represented by Zuma Minerals, and a Russian mining company aimed at strengthening the State’s mining sector, attracting investment, creating jobs, and unlocking the economic potential of Niger State’s mineral resources.

The partnership underlines the determination of the farmer governor in revitalizing the mineral and mining sector for the overall growth and development of the State.
