BUA Group Disclaims Fake Stock Market Training Using Chairman Abdul Samad Rabiu’s Image

BUA Group has alerted the public to a fraudulent online scheme promoting a fake, free stock market training that misuses the image of its founder and Chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu.

In a statement released across its official social media handles, the Nigerian conglomerate clarified that neither its Executive Chairman, BUA Group, nor any of its affiliates are associated with the program.

The management stated: “We hereby state that neither our Executive Chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu (CFR, CON), nor BUA Group or any of its affiliated companies are a party, a sponsor, or host of this purported free training, and has not commissioned any person(s) or organization(s) to do such on its behalf.”

BUA Group warned that the scammers used Mr. Rabiu’s photograph obviously to create a false impression of official sponsorship or endorsement.
