“Undoubtedly One Of Those Rare Individuals” — Abdul Samad Rabiu Celebrates Otedola
Billionaire industrialist and Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has described fellow tycoon Femi Otedola as a rare human being whose single lifetime achievements surpass what most people could dream of achieving in multiple lifetimes.
The respected philanthropist made these remarks while celebrating the Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria Holdings Plc on his 64th birthday. Born on November 4, 1962, Otedola—whom the BUA founder fondly referred to as his best friend—marked his 64th birthday today.
“Some people go through life, and some people leave their mark on it. Femi, you are undoubtedly one of those rare individuals who have achieved more in one lifetime than most people could ever dream of achieving in several!” Rabiu stated via his official Facebook handle.
Acknowledging Otedola’s relentless fighting spirit, the BUA chief added: “You are a fighter, a conqueror, a man of extraordinary courage, resilience, and determination. Life may throw its challenges, but you have shown time and again that you are not one to back down. When you believe in something, you stand your ground and fight for it with everything you’ve got.”
“And that is precisely why I always say, Femi is one man whose right side I intend to remain on! Because when you decide to fight a battle, you don’t stop until you’ve won!” Rabiu added.
He further noted that behind Otedola’s fierce determination lies a deeply compassionate individual: “But behind that formidable strength and fierce determination is a man with a genuinely soft heart, a generous spirit, and a deep sense of loyalty to those he holds dear. And that, to me, is what makes you truly special.”
Expressing pride in their enduring bond, the BUA chairman said he is “immensely proud of all you have accomplished, but even prouder to call you my friend,” while praying that God blesses his dear friend with long life, excellent health, unending joy, and peace of mind.
