A gubernatorial aspirant in Lagos State, Babatunde Gbadamosi has been arrested by the police authority for violating law put in place by the government in the fight against the deadly disease, Coronavirus.

Mr Gbadamosi, popularly called BOG, was picked up by security agents in the evening of Monday, April 6, 2020.

His offence was attending a birthday party actress Funke Akindele put together for her husband, Abdulrasheed Bello, otherwise known as JJC Skillz.

The event held at the celebrity couple’s Amen Estate home in Ibeju Lekki area of Lagos state.

According to findings, the development has done great damage to Mr Gbadamosi image and by extension his dream of governing Lagos state.

This is so as the law of the land stipulates a one-month jail term with an option of 100,000 fine or both for anyone who acts contrary to coronavirus orders.

Interestingly, there indications the politician who recently returned to the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will be arraigned in court today, April 7 2020.
