The All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial aspirant for Lagos East Senatorial District, Honourable Sikiru Adebayo Osinowo has stated his readiness for the senatorial primaries of the party.
Hon Osinowo also dispelled the rumour going round that the party has given some incumbent senators return tickets as well as the report that he was not cleared for the primaries by the screening committee of the party.
“The APC senatorial primaries takes place on Thursday and I want to use this opportunity to call on our party members to troop out en-masse and exercise their rights and vote for the candidate of their choice,” he said.
The Lagos East Senatorial aspirant dispelled the rumour that some incumbent senators have been given automatic tickets. “There is nothing like that. If some people are given automatic tickets, the party will inform us. Nothing of such has taken place,” he said.
The aspirant also debunked rumour that he had been disqualified. “I purchased my nomination form, submitted it and subsequently went for the screening. I was screened and cleared to contest the senatorial primaries of our party,” he said.
