Why Ajimobi’s Ally, Akin Fijabi Is Very Happy He Survived COVID-19

Ibadan, Oyo state top shot, Akinade Fijabi is said to be very grateful to his maker.

And the reason for this is not farfetched, he reportedly survived the dreaded coronavirus.

Chief Akin Fijabi is the father of Saheed Fijabi, a former lawmaker who represented Ibadan North-West/South-West Federal Constituency in the National Assembly between 2011 and 2019.

According to information, he’s one of the big names that contacted the disease in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

Fijabi is said to be one the closest persons to the deceased ex-governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi.

Former governor Ajimobi breathed his last on June 25, 2020 at Lagos State based First Cardiologist and Cardiovascular Consultants Hospital after suffering multiple organ failure occasioned by complications from COVID-19.

There indications he (Fijabi) became infected with dreaded disease during one of his meetings with the former governor.

Information has it he surrendered himself for covid19 test immediately the news broke his former governor friend has been hospitalised for the ailment.

Highstreet.ng understands the test came positive hence his movement to isolation center for treatment.
