Two Occupants Confirmed Dead As Helicopter Crashes In Lagos

A chopper this afternoon crashed into a residential building at No 16, Salvation Road, Opebi, Lagos.

The accident occurred around noon today.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, who was one of the early callers at the scene, said two occupants of the chopper died on the spot while the third occupant was rescued alive and moved to the hospital.

Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB), LASEMA, NEMA, Police and other agencies were at the scene.

The scene has been secured.
