Why Interior Minister, Aregbesola Is Very Angry With Gov Oyetola

Former governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is very angry at the moment.

And his anger is directed at the incumbent governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, this medium reliably gathered.

Aregbesola is currently the Minister of Interior in the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari.

He grouse is simply on the ground that Oyetola has continued to undo all the policies he emplaced while serving as governor of the state one after the other, highstreet.ng gathered.

Interestingly, Oyetola and Ogbeni Aregbesola are members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Oyetola, who succeeded Aregbesola, served in the administration of his predecessor as chief of staff for eight years.

Oyetola-Led Osun state government had, in a circular dated August 27, 2020, announced its decision to toss aside the infamous education system of his predecessor in office.

Also on Thursday September 3, 2020 Oyetola indicated that public schools in the state would return to their previous uniforms before the introduction of common uniform by former governor Rauf Aregbesola at the commencement of new academic session.

The development is said to have set the two politicians against each other once again.

Aregbesola’s education policies – introduced in 2013 – were largely described as unpopular among the citizenry.

The directives, according to available information, will take effect from November 9, 2020.

The policies reversal, source insisted, has further adversely affected their relationship, highstreet.ng understands.
