“A Fine Gentleman” Oyetola Greets General Akinrinade At 83

Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has joined other eminent Nigerians to celebrate General Ipoola Alani Akinrinade (rtd.), who turned 83 on Monday.

Oyetola, who described him as a patriotic Nigerian further noted that retired Lt. Gen. Akinrinade’s credential is one of the selling points of Osun, noting that his profile and contributions are important chapters in the recognition of Osun as one of the States of Distinction in Nigeria.

“I am proud to be the governor of a man who typifies the Omoluabi ethos, which our state holds dear, and a fine gentleman who is a reference point in the military, statesmanship and progressivism.

“On behalf of my family, the government and people of Osun, I join family, friends, associates, wellwishers and the rest of the country to felicitate an elderstatesman, retired Lt. Gen. Alani Akinrinade on the occasion of his 83rd birthday anniversary.

“As he celebrates his 83rd birthday, I pray God to grant our highly revered elderstatesman longer life in sound health and more wisdom in the service of Osun and the country in general,” Oyetola added.
