Akindele Razak Emerges Chairman As Osun NMA Elects New Officers

Dr Razak Akindele has emerged the new Chairman of Osun State Chapter of Nigeria Medical Association (NMA).

The election, an online exercise, held between 8am and 4pm on Saturday, August 8, 2020.

Akindele polled 253 votes to defeat other contenders, Adebayo Kazeem and Adekunle I.A who scored 225 and 91 votes respectively.

Dr Adetoye Adedapo was returned unopposed as 1st Vice Chairman of association with 456 while Dr Ojo Abayomi trounced Olufunke Aduke to emerge 2nd Vice Chairman.

Dr Folami E.O clinched General Secretary position with total of 418 votes. While his challenger, Dr oroge Femi got 131 votes.

10) Editor – Dr Adetunji tajudeen

11) Deputy Editor –  Dr Ubom Benard
