According to The PUNCH over 11 members of the upper chamber of the national assembly are either under EFCC probe or prosecution.

They include Orji Kalu, Theodore Orji, Rochas Okorocha, Stella Oduah, Ike Ekweremadu, Peter Nwaoboshi, Abba Moro, Akpan Albert, Ifeanyi Ubah, Gabriel Suswam and Ibrahim Shekarau.

Senator Danjuma Goje was also facing prosecution but the charges against him were mysteriously dropped by the Federal Government following a meeting he held with the President during the campaign for presiding officers of the National Assembly.
