Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), David Lyon, has been declared winner of the Saturday, November 16, 2019 gubernatorial election in Bayelsa State.

David Lyon polled 352,552 votes to defeat Duoye Diri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 143, 172 votes.

The Vice Chancellor University of Benin, Faraday Orumwese who was the election’s returning officer made the announcement today Monday November 18, 2019.
