ASR Africa Hailed By Gov AbdulRasaq Over N2.5bn Oncology Centre, N1bn Amphitheatre Donations
ASR Africa, the philanthropic initiative of billionaire businessman and chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, just received commendations for its generous donations.
The commendations, highstreet.ng pieced together, came from Governor AbdulRaman AbdulRasaq of Kwara State and the management of the University of Ilorin. And it’s over donations of N2.5bn Oncology Centre and N1bn 3000-seater Amphitheatre.
A tweet by Governor AbdulRasaq indicated the construction of the N1billion 3000-seater Amphitheatre, located within the premises of the University of Ilorin, is currently ongoing while the foundation-laying ceremony of the N2.5bn Oncology Centre is scheduled to be held next week.

Celebrating Mr Rabiu’s big money gestures – through ASR Africa – in a series of tweets via his X handle, Excited Mr Abdiraman wrote…
“I join the @unilorinNGR to commend @AsRafrica for its huge support for the construction of the ongoing 3000-seater amphitheatre valued at N1bn at the university. This is typical of the @BUAGroup conglomerate founded and led by my brother, Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu.
I am excited to also announce that the foundation-laying ceremony of the N2.5bn oncology centre that @AsRafrica donated to @followkwsg will be done next week.
We cannot thank @AsRafrica, @BUAGroup, and Alhaji Rabiu enough for these huge CSR gestures that clearly set it apart as a great supporter of human capital development in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. We are truly grateful., aslo halid the gesture.”
