BUA Group Announced Winner Of Climate Action Award

BUA Group has been announced winner of the Climate Action award at the – Hero of the Environmental Action for Development (HEAD) Awards.

Put together by Naturenews in celebration of its third year anniversary, the award ceremony was held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.

And it’s “in recognition of BUA Group’s relentless commitment in utilizing cleaner and energy-efficient sources for its operations across Nigeria in line with global ESG initiatives and sustainability practices, in addition to adopting advanced LNG energy sources to enhance the all-year availability of cleaner energy across its operations”, available information revealed.

Dr. Ubon Ubon, MD/CEO, ASR Africa in company of Nakama Keri (Multilateral Coordination Specialist, ASR Africa), Ayo Olagunju (Strategy & Quality Assurance Specialist, ASR Africa) and Edidiong Idang (Social Development Specialist, ASR Africa) graced to event to receive the award on behalf of BUA Group and it’s founder, Abdul Samad Rabiu.

With Dignitaries from diverse sectors in attendance, the award was presented by Alhaji Aliu Akoshile, CEO/Editor in Chief of Naturenews.
