Edo Guber: Gov Obaseki In Comfortable Lead
The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Saturday, September 19, 2020 gubernatorial election, Godwin Obaseki is in the comfortable lead.
The incumbent governor is ahead of Osagie Ize-Iyamu – his major challenger – of All Progressives Congress (APC) with 52,211 votes.
According to results from 10 local government areas so far announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mr. Obaseki won in eight while his rival had only two.
