Former Lagos Gov Lateef Jakande Passes On

The first Executive Governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Jakande, has passed on.

A former journalist, Alhaji Jakande ruled Lagos State between 1979 and 1983.

Jakande, who was served as a minister of works during the military regime of General Sank Abacha, died today February 11, 2021.

He was aged 91.
