Gov Bago Celebrates SGF, Akume At 71

Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago celebrates the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Sen. George Akume on his 71st birthday.

In a congratulatory message by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, describes the celebrant as an extraordinary administrator and a quintessential leader.

He recalls how the SGF tremendously contributed to deepening Democracy and nation-building when he served and rose to the pinnacle of his career in the Federal Civil Service,and became Governor of Benue State for 8 years.

The farmer Governor further notes that the celebrant also served as a Senator from 2007 to 2019, and thereafter became a Minister of the Federal Republic between 2019 and 2023 from where he was appointed as the SGF.

He says the track record of the Septuagenarian has track records is outstanding, reflecting the administrative competence, intellectual capacity, dedication, and commitment of the former lawmaker to improving the nation.

The farmer Governor prays for more years in sound health for continuous service to humanity.
