The Ekiti State commissioner for Agriculture, Folorunsho Olabode has been kidnapped.
The ugly incident reportedly transpired along Isan and Iludun-Ekiti road in Ekiti State.
A local government lawmaker, Olatunji Omotosho, who was with the politician at time of the incident was killed by the attackers.
The deceased was said to be a councillor of Ilejemeje local government area of the state.
