Popular Reps Member Wole Oke Dumps PDP
Oluwole Oke, the house of representatives member representing Oriade Obokun Federal Constituency in the national assembly, has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Mr Oke made his intention to quit the reigning political party in Osun State in a letter addressed to the Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, Ward 7, Obokun Local Government.
“I wish to formally notify you that I am resigning my Membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with immediate effect”, Oke disclosed in the letter dated April 16, 2025.
Oke maintained he took the step Following “consultation and engagement with my political associates, family and friends.”
Copied in the resignation letter were the chairmen of the PDP at the national, state and local government levels.
Interestingly the federal lawmaker dumped the party after revealing his grouse with Governor Ademola Adeleke and his administration in a video address to his constituents.
Information pieced together by HighStreet.ng revealed he will officially pitch his tent with the ruling All Progressives Congress in matter of days.
