Sanwo-Olu Tells How Death Of Pastor Odukoya Left Him Devastated

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu is devastated.

His current state of mind is occasioned by the sudden death of Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya, the founding pastor of The Fountain of Life Church.

Pastor Odukoya passed on yesterday, August 8, 2023 in United State of America.

He was aged 67.

In a communication via his social media handle, Governor Sanwo-Olu described the passage of the popular man of God he referred to as a dear brother and friend as shocking and devastating.

Mr Sanwo-Olu’s post on the sad occurrence reads…

It was with utter shock and sadness that I received the news of the passing of Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya, the founding Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church.

Pastor Odukoya was a dear brother and friend. He was a dedicated man of God whose faith and belief in God never shook nor waned despite experiencing the obstacles of life.

He was steadfast in worship and diligent in service. He was a great preacher and teacher, whose life and ministry has continued to impact the lives of people within the Christian body and outside.

Pastor Odukoya’s demise is indeed a heart wrenching reminder that this life is indeed fleeting.

My sincere condolences to his dear children, Tolu Ijogun, Jimmy Odukoya, Tobi Enuha, Jomiloju and Timilehin Odukoya and the entire Odukoya family.

I also commiserate with Pastor Odukoya’s friends, associates, the congregation of The Fountain of Life Church, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and the entire Christian body.

May his soul find rest with God, and may the good Lord comfort his friends, family, and all members of his church. Amen.
