Tinubu Is The Winner Of The Presidential Election, INEC Declares

The presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been declared as the winner of the Saturday, February 25, 2023 presidential election.

The declaration that tranformed Tinubu as the president-elect of Nigeria was made by the Independent National Electoral Commission in the early hours of Wednesday March 1, 2023.

The INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, made the announcement.

Asiwaju Tinubu, a former Lagos State governor, was declared the president-elect after polling 8,794,726 votes to win the 2023 presidential election.

He trounced Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the Peoples Democratic Party, the Labour Party and the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, respectively, in the keenly contested election.
