AIT, Channels, Arise Axed By NBC Over Lekki Shooting

Three major broadcasting stations have been sanctioned over their alleged roles in escalating violence across the country during #EndSARS protests.

The erring media houses are Arise TV, African Independent Television (AIT) and Channels Television.

They were reportedly handed between N2million and N3million fines by National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).

The regulatory body, according to report, axed them for airing unverified images of the alleged shooting during the nationwide protests.
