Forbes Validates Abdul Samad Rabiu’s Status Among The Richest In Africa

The new status and rise in the fortune of Abdul Samad Rabiu, the respected philanthropist and industrialist behind BUA Group, have just been validated by Forbes.

Forbes in its latest report on the richest people in Africa established how the example of a successful businessman became richer after the listing of another of his businesses on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX).

“Nigerian cement tycoon Abdulsamad Rabiu, who is $1.5 billion richer after taking yet another of his companies public”, Forbes reported.

Right now, the fortune of BUA chairman, who is relentlessly touching lives across Africa with ASR (Abdul Samad Rabiu) Africa, stands around $7billion.

Interestingly, Mr. Rabiu’s net worth of $7billion significantly placed him ahead of Otunba Mike Adenuga, the wealthy chairman of telecommunication giant, Globacom.

The estimated net worth of Mr. Adenuga, who currently ranked 6th on the latest list of richest men in the continent, is $6.7billion.

Forbes listed Chairman Abdul Samad Rabiu as number 5, while Aliko Dangote – with an estimated net worth of $13.9Billion – retained the first position.
