Man of means Benedict Peters has a very powerful member of president Muhammadu Buhari government as his backer, information available to societynow.ng has revealed.

And Mr Peters’ backer is no other person than Abba Kyari the Chief of Staff to President Buhari, our reporter learnt.

Ben Peters is the billionaire businessman behind Aiteo Energy Resources Limited.

Aiteo Group is an oil exploration and production company.

Ben Peters is one of the oil sector players that had “issues” with the authority following his involvement in a number of deals in the last administration of ex President Goodluck Jonathan.

And it was believed in many quarters Peters would run into major problem that would consume him immediately the move to probe most of the deals done in the government of former President Jonathan began.

But that did not happen as a reprieve of sort came the way of the wealthy oil baron.

Those in the know attribute the Aiteo’s boss surviving the ordeal to his closeness to Chief of Staff Abba Kyari.

83 years old Abba Kyari is believed to be the most powerful appointee in the government of President Buhari.

Also sources who are privy to the kind of relationship that exists between Ben Peters and the Octogenarian disclosed the businessman has been a close ally of the chief of staff for a long time, even before re-elected Muhammadu Buhari became President.
