Why Reps Speaker Gbajabiamila Is Unhappy At The Moment

Those in the know have described Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila, the speaker of the House of Representatives as a very sad person at the moment.

His present state of mind is said to be about the death of a foremost traditional ruler, Oba Lamidi Atanda Adeyemi, Iku Baba Yeye, the Alaafin of Oyo.

And said to have further compounded Mr. Gbajabiamila’s sadness is the fact that the chieftaincy title he had been penciled down for by the late monarch has been jeopardized.

Gbajabiamila was already preparing for the conferment of AARE BAASÒFIN TI ILE YORUBÁ (Supreme Legislative Guide for the Yoruba Race) title when death visited the respected custodian of Yoruba culture, highstreet.ng understands.

sadly, the Friday, May 27, 2022 scheduled event, which was part of the ceremonies lined up for Mr. Gbajabiamila’s 60th birthday celebration, will not hold again.

Born in 1962, Hon Gbajabiamila will clock 60 on June 25, 2022.
